the "big" chop

Today we went to Orchard to get my hair cut. I ended up going to Salon Vim because a lot of bloggers have advertised for them, and somehow I felt more confident getting my hair cut at a place I had heard of before. I wasn't really sure how I was going to describe what sort of style I wanted so I brought some pictures from a ViVi magazine, and when she started cutting away I felt confident we were on the same page. The end result is pictured below. Initially I was completely in love with it, and it was exactly what I had pictured in my head. But now when I look at the pre-haircut photos I took, I feel a slight regret that I ended up going so short, even though that's what I had in mind when I went in. However, I think that's only a natural reaction and it will get some time getting used to. My long hair was very damaged with a lot of split ends anyway, so it needed to be done.

...my cousin read what I wrote above and started laughing at me because she says I'm trying to point out positive things about my 7cm chop, to make me feel better about myself haha.
